When a good “Trip Hop” record was released we were looking forward to hide away in one of our homes or cars and begin the trip thanks to this foggy and captivating beat!
For all these valid reasons we has chosen to release it on CD in order to fix this moment in the present days, with the intention of paying true homage to a style which made us dream and still now affects the productions of Billy Bogus and Federico Bologna.

Billy Bogus and Federico Bologna start digging again. They rework old tapes and DAT reviving some ideas frozen between mid 90s and a foggy and promising future.
Federico had already made himself known in the Bologna scene of Technogod and Ohmega Tribe in the subterranean and prolific crew of “Lost Legion”, sold several records abroad with Alchemax, Contempo (EMI), Vox Pop (BMG) and appeared in compilations of ZYX Music next to Aphex Twin, Plaid and more.
Billy Bogus flips through tapes recorded with dusty four-channels LEM, which could play at the same time EMAX and AKAI 950 plus several synthesisers in turn : KORG POLYSIX, OBERHEIM MATRIX6, KORG MS10, ROLAND D50 just to name a few.

And so “1996 until infinity” was born, an exponential version of what was probably the break year for this kind of sounds, although it was not only that but also a way to live street and friends, it was called "Trip Hop!"
For all these valid reasons Screaming Cockatiel Records has chosen to release it on CD in order to fix this moment in the present days, with the intention of paying true homage to a style which made us dream and still now affects the productions of Bogus and Bologna, already partners in project such as The Caribbean House and R¥alto.
